There's a project. You need help. No problem, you'll just get some temps.
But it's never that simple. You need somewhere for them to work. PCs
for them to work at. IT has to get them logged into the network, which
always wastes a few hours. A few expensive hours. Like the hours they
spend sitting around every time the network has problem or their
application crashes. The more temps, the more hours. If the hours run
over for the week, you'll probably be paying overtime, too. Don't feel
bad for the temps, though, they're enjoying your office's new coffee
